Why Select a CGA Public Practice Firm?

Certified General Accountants Act, 1994, The Certified General Accountants Association of Saskatchewan certifies fully qualified professional accountants and auditors who have completed the CGA Program of Professional Studies. The Association administers a mandatory standards program of continuing professional education, practice review, professional liability insurance, and member discipline to assure the highest level of service, protecting the public interest.
As a self-regulating professional body, the Association and its members are bound by a comprehensive
Code of Ethical Principles and Rules of Conduct (CEPROC).
By virtue of their Act and the self-regulatory nature of the profession in Saskatchewan, CGAs are guaranteed full practice rights, including audit, review and compilation of financial statement services. In addition, CGAs offer tax planning, financial planning, feasibility and forecasting and valuation services. Members assist in the selection and implementation of computer systems as well as offer other management services to their clients.
