Recent changes to the Canada Elections Act and election financing rules have made the political process much more open, but also more onerous on candidates, official agents and campaign auditors.

As a public service, CGA-Canada has developed a guide designed to facilitate compliance by candidates, official agents and auditors with the Canada Elections Act by emphasizing the statutory financial report requirements as well as promoting the existing information already available on the Elections Canada website.

This Guide is a first-ever interactive web-based tool and it contains the most current information available – including best practices, checklists, sample letters and links to the Act and Elections Canada forms for ease of reference.
