Who Can Start?
You will enter the CGA program at a level that is consistent with your educational background. We want to make sure that you begin at a level that is complex enough to be both interesting and challenging for you, but still provides you the opportunity to succeed.
Everyone entering the CGA program brings different academic credentials; your entrance into the program will be consistent with your educations background. That’s why your path through the CGA program will be different from another students.

| Mature Student | Dependent on Education and Work Experience | Enroll Online | Mature students are at least 21 years of age and are recommended to have two years’ work experience to enter the program.
Must have at minimum grade 12 mathematics (recommended 40S Pre-Calculus or Applied Math) a good understanding of the essential elements of business arithmetic and basic algebra including: arithmetic operations, algebraic concepts, simple and compound interest, annuities and statistics.
Also expected to have at least Grade 12 written and spoken English skills. Those students who are entering the CGA Program without a Bachelors Degree will be required to meet CGA’s degree requirement prior to receiving your CGA designation. | International Student | Dependent on Education and Work Experience | Application for Advanced Standing (International Transcripts) | A minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of “7” in each of the four language skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing - is suggested for admission to the CGA Program of Professional Studies. |
